Does anyone make a home theater receiver that can tune in web radio natively (i.e. w/o the need of a pc)?

Basically I’m looking for a replacement of my old receiver which offered multiple inputs/outputs (was a Pioneer Elite 33tx) but with the added ability to tune in web radio. I’m not interested in streaming from my pc; I would like one interface to listen to cds, dvds, fm and internet radio.

No, you can’t tune into web radio without a pc. Otherwise how are you going to access the internet. Integra has a feature called net tunes, but you’ll have to hook the reciever up to a router via an ethernet cable. It will allow you to play web radio. Most web radio is low bandwith though.

Denon AVR-4306 does Internet streams without need for pc. It picks up a IP address from your dhcp router. You then set your Internet streams. It uses a standard ethernet plug in the back so you will need a ethernet cable from your router to the Denon, or you can use a "Gaming Adapter" (also called a wireless bridge) to wireless connect the Denon to your router.
Its a great receiver. Best receiver in its class in my opinion.
Both the Denon and Yamaha use vtuner to set stations.

    hope this helps

If you have a wireless network you can use the ROKU Soundbridge to connect to internet radio without using a computer. Of course, you can’t play muic that’s on your PC but you can listen to internet radio.

Just connect it your receiver, it will find your network, and then you can choose the station you want.
