What a Deck is a Great Beginner’s Project

It may look like a big job, but building a deck is really a nice project for the beginner who already has some simple projects under his belt and is looking to advance just a bit. Why?

* The tools required are not complicated – just basic carpentry tools and a circular saw.

* The project is done outdoors so no messes in the house. Plus, project delays don’t leave the inside of the house in disarray.

* There are no plumbing or electrical skills required.

* You can involve other members of the family to the degree it’s safe for them to work on the deck.

* It’s not a terribly expensive project, so any goofs can be corrected very cheaply.
