What is a good music editor to create techno songs?

I’m trying to find a good editor to create some techno/dance/electronica sounding songs just for something to do.

Here’s what you can try and they’re exellent programs.

Reason 3 (I’m not sure is the version 4 is out but if it is, get the 4 instead.

    Frutty-Loops.

PRO-TOOLS. Now careful with Pro-tools because they only support certain Hardware like M-audio mostly.

Sonar 6 is another one good.

have fun shooping for your software!

You said "just for something to do" so I suggest this nifty little 808 type drum machine called Hammerhead Rhythm Station. It’s free and easy to use.
