What are some good programs for creating your own techno/trance music?
I have been listening to techno for years and now I am interested in making my own music. Price isn’t really a factor here. If there are good programs for this I would also like to know if there are forums where people share their created music and help each other out.

There are two stand out programs for this:
1/ Fruity Loops
2/ Reason
There are many others, such as Acid and Logic, but you will find those two more geared towards what you are wanting to do.. enjoy!

I once used a program called ‘Ejay virtual music studio’, you can download a trial version if you search it on google, its pretty good but not for me as I wanted to make some Metal music lol. Try it though its pretty easy to use.
