How is techno music made?

I know it requires a keyboard and a computer, but I don’t know what programs to use, or how to play a keyboard. But I really love techno, and I would like to find out how to make my own music some day.

    If you’re just getting into it, a gREAT program is Fruity Loops.

    I know there are even some bands out there that use it. It’s easy to use as well.

    Fruity Loops
    Ableton Live (but not that good, only for live playing)
    Cubase
    Also there is another thing for mac, don’t know, ableton also works for mac, the other i dont know

    You can just use your computer if you get a composition program like Sibelius and then some techno synth voices.
    But you do need to know about music theory
