How to get radio stations without static?

I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado and I listen to FM 104.3 – The Fan. It’s a sports radio located in Denver, Colorado. I get it about 70% clear then the other 30% is static. Is there like, an adapter or something Walmart or Radio shack sells that you can plug into your 12v slot in your car that will make you get radio stations better or something like that? Thanks

The problem may be that your antenna cable has come disconnected from behind your head unit…This is actually fairly common and most people will not look to see if this in fact what happened prior to replacing the radio…take a look at it and if everything is where it should be I would recommend buying a new deck…
