Do you live in the Metro Detroit area and listen to satellite radio instead of local radio stations?
In my opinion Detroit radio stations suck.
I wish I lived in Flint, Michigan area so I could pick up 102.5 FM WIOG from Saginaw, Michigan.
I got SIRIUS satellite radio and I love it.
Wow I disagree. Detroit has had a number of syndicated radio shows that are now nationwide. As far as music there is really something for everyone. If you like WIOG maybe you would like 93.1, 95.5, 102.7, or 97.9. They all are a bit different but those are POP station like you listened to in Flint. I have Sirius as well the problem I have is the reception in my car is not that great because it is run through my radio. Good Luck

There’s not really much that interests me on Detroit radio, though Charles Pugh’s program on FM 98 WJLB is a rare diamond in the rough. I love to listen to Sirius music when I can, otherwise for news and talk radio I turn on NPR from EMU or U of M.

I enjoy local radio here in Detroit. On Sunday nights listening to FUTI on 92.3. On Saturday mornings listening to 105.9 and my real station is 107.5.
