Do radio stations keep archives of their playlists from many years ago?
I want to know if it’s common practice for radio stations to archive their daily playlists, and if they allow the public to view them. I’d like to get a list of what was played on someone’s birthday 10 years ago.
do to royalties which the artist receive, if there is a dispute they can find out exactly what song and at what time the song was played, but because the statute of limitation i think they only have records for the past 7 years and it is kept by a private corporation that oversees the radio station.

Radio stations themselves most likely will not be able to get their hands on this information, and since most stations that I know of are shorthanded, it is not something that they would get around to doing anyway. But, there is another possibility. Check out this link:

Good luck!

No but if you look at the Billboard charts you’ll get a pretty good idea.
