How do i get my music on the radio?
How do i get my bands music on the radio? We are all good and that would be great publicity.
Find out which radio station has a local bands show and submit your stuff. I work at a radio station and it is hard to get stuff on the radio without having a record contract first. You should try internet radio as well

In Canada you need to have your music copyrighted and if you are independent you must e signed on with SOCAN!
I believe in the states it’s the same thing only you have to be signed with ASCAN.
Look on-line for that info. Once you’ve registered your music to your bands name, mail out copies of an album or EP to stations. If you get played SOCAN/ASCAN will pay you!
But go online and get the info for sure.

you could do it the old fashioned way, send the station a press kit and tix to your next show. Helpful if the station has a local show. Or, go to the station’s remotes, get in good w/ some of the DJs, and schmooze from there. And lastly, get big and sell out. Sure thing.
