The OFF Button

My friends and family are always making fun of me because I’m constantly on my cellphone. I hear all kinds of jokes about being ‘borg’ or dying if I’m ever away from the collective or the hive. Granted, I do spend a lot of time working and playing on my 3g mobile but that’s because I can pretty much do whatever I need to directly in the palm of my hand! What a great life!
It may sound kind of cavalier or even arrogant, but to be honest, when I don’t want to be connected, when I want to be on my own, I just hit the OFF button! Then no one can get me, not even the friends and family that goad me for using it all the time! I mean, it’s MY mobile, for MY convenience, right?
