Deal With Your Frustrations

I had to teach her how to deal with her frustrations. With prayer and encouragement, she no longer cries or gives up. In the beginning, I required DJ to read to me in the car as we drove to school and home. It was a bumpy and tearful 45-minute ride there and back for both of us. When mentioning kindergarten to her, she informed me that all the children knew how to read and her mother had to teach her (most likely the other students attended pre-kindergarten).The first month was a struggle to build up her confidence and self worth.
