A Healthy Way To Curb Your Appetite
You may think the more you exercise the more you will want to eat since you are burning off all those calories. That doesn’t seem to be the case, in fact it may be the opposite. According to a recent study exercising may increase your before meal appetite but participants noticed getting full faster so they ate less.
The study looked at overweight women and men who were exercising daily, burning an extra 500 calories a day. After twelve weeks of daily exercise the participants noticed they were more hungry for breakfast than they were before the study, but they also noticed the same breakfast was more filling that it was before they had started working out. Even better the participants noticed they felt satisfied for hours after they finished their meal. That’s exciting news for anyone who wants to start exercising more to lose a little weight.
The researchers weren’t exactly sure why exercising seemed to curb the appetite but if this really works it is a great way to help us on our path to better health and a slimmer waistline. So jump on that elliptical exercise machine or start going for regular brisk walks. But remember to listen to your body if you are feeling hungry eat something healthy and drink plenty of water as dehydration can make some people overeat
