Looking for bitchen "scene" bands?
Ok, so, I’m not eighteen anymore and i would really like to keep up with the world of music. I think it is really important that new and innovative bands with an original sound get the play and recognition they deserve. Since this is underground music, it is hard to give them this support.
I also didn’t mention this. I live on the Big Island of Hawaii. When I first arrived I cried listening to the radio stations. There’s Country, Christian, Hawaiian, and a corporate rock station. I’m telling you… no KROQ, no satellite radio (I think it has something to do with the mountains and being in the middle of the ocean a million miles from anything).
I need help. Preferably, Internet related.
Local Band =’s Hawaiian music.
No Ticket Master on the island.
Do I need to go on MY Space and pick-their-brains there.?
I’m from Dana Point, CA (Orange County).
Check out Pepper, they’re a band from Kona that plays punk rock/reggae, and one of the most underground, non-sellout bands I know. They’re kind of dick heads, but they play good music regardless. Can’t believe you’ve never heard of them, being from Big Island and all.
