On-line massage courses positives are what?

The fabulous World Wide Web and the ever increasing internet speeds have enabled us now to study courses on-line – massage therapist training included. Why should someone want to utilize online massage courses though? Well maybe you live in a remote place or simply cannot afford or have the ability to leave home and live near your chosen massage college. Another advantage of online massage therapist courses is that you can learn at your own pace; you study when you want and do as much as you want at any one time. You have to be disciplined though as no one will be pushing you along.

Learning massage technique is achievable through online video streaming and it is possible to interact with tutors and ask questions via webinars and forums. The time freed up in your schedule by being able to dictate your own pace means you can fit family life in OK or maybe continue working part time.

Dodgy Questions In An Interview

If you have an upcoming inteview, then you should be aware that there are certain types of questions that the interview is not allowed to ask you.

For instance, they can not distinguish you from the competition on the basis of your race, your age, whether or not you are married, your sexuality or your political views.

Now, most interview panels won’t ask you about this directly, but they can ask you in a roundabout way.

For instance, they might ask what your spouse does for a living or what your child care arrangements are.

These are tricky as they seem relatively innocent, just note the wording of the question and write it down afterwards. You may need your record of events if you are going to contest the decision at a later date.

A Decision To Change

Right now I’m stuck with a job that doesn’t make me happy and isn’t really that enjoyable overall. Lately I’ve been looking for graphic artist jobs because I have a passion for creating graphics with Photoshop. For the past 5 years I have been creating my own graphics as a hobby but now I think I want to turn that into a career. I mean, it’s something that I love doing so why not do it? I’ve spent enough time doing a job that causes me to dread waking up every morning so now I think it’s time to make a change and get started on something I love.

Bartending Jobs With No Experience

Can you really get a bartending job with no experience? The answer is absolutely.

Even in this economy? Yes, now more than ever actually. What bartenders don’t want you to know is that mixing drinks is only about 2% of bartending jobs. Most of the job is being able to handle money responsibly, talk to customers and generally have a presence behind the stick.

In today’s economy most bar owners realize that bartenders with bad attitudes are costing them money. People aren’t going out nearly as much as they used to so bars need to maximize every opportunity they get.

Owners have begun to lose patience with crabby, out of touch bartenders – even if they make the best drinks on the planet. Custoomers come back for the overall experience and a great attitude can overcome any sub-par drink making skills.

So if you are hunting for your first bartending job make sure you put your best foot forward in your interview and show the owner that you will get the customers coming back, again and again.
