How to get radio stations without static?

I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado and I listen to FM 104.3 – The Fan. It’s a sports radio located in Denver, Colorado. I get it about 70% clear then the other 30% is static. Is there like, an adapter or something Walmart or Radio shack sells that you can plug into your 12v slot in your car that will make you get radio stations better or something like that? Thanks

The problem may be that your antenna cable has come disconnected from behind your head unit…This is actually fairly common and most people will not look to see if this in fact what happened prior to replacing the radio…take a look at it and if everything is where it should be I would recommend buying a new deck…

Anyone know what radio station is for reggae music in Atlanta or a website that tells???

Try

www.radio-locator.com

http://www.radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/locate?select=city&city=atlanta&state=ga&sid=&x=5&y=4

There’s no station devoted to Reggae that’s listed. The closest I see is WWVA 105.7 which is Latin Pop and there are several Spanish stations listed – no Caribbean.

There are probably some individual shows (mostly on weekends) but no station that’s pure Reggae. Sorry.

As a Roman Catholic, is it OK to listen to protestant radio shows?

My favorite person to listen to on the radio is Dr. Charles Stanley, a Southern Baptist pastor of his church in Atlanta, Georgia, in his "In Touch" program that comes on my local Christian radio station at 12 every day. I find myself tuning in and listening/watching him preach on the internet during my free time. I don’t agree with everything he says as far as theology, but I find him otherwise very inspirational and encouraging, yet straight-forward and genuine. I learn alot about the Bible when I listen to his show and others. However, I get very annoyed at shows like "Grace to You" by John MacArthur, who I find to be very arrogant, judgmental and anti-Catholic. As shallow as it may sound, I do not enjoy listening to "Catholic radio". Is it wrong for me as a Roman Catholic to get enriched spiritually by this kind of programming?

It’s fine to listen, if you find it enriches you spiritually.
You seem confident enough in your understanding of church teaching.
You obviously are able to discern differences & false teaching.

Does anybody know how i can listen to a carnatic music radio channel online ?

i can’t find any free internet radio with carnatic music. and i can’t get a good AM signal of radio trichy etc in bombay. i miss listening to new, fresh carnatic music everyday as opposed to recorded tapes.
anybody has solutions? i tried worldspace, it’s not that great and very expensive!

well actually world Space is a fast catching satellite radio service…coz on my own experience im telling it….but if u still don’t enjoy it i think raaga.com will fit the bill http://www.raaga.com/channels/carnatic/ its really a good site….but you should download its player i guess….this much may do the need full…

What are (if any) the German internet radio stations that play modern pop songs mainly in German?

I am trying to find German music. I want to experience something new, and besides I studied German language in college; I liked it. I went through German/Austrian internet radio stations and surprisingly – there are basically no (modern) songs in German!!! You must listen half an hour to music in English until you finally get to hear something in German, and that’s on the so called German radio stations! I hope I didn’t find the right ones, otherwise I could only feel sad for such situation.

that’s pretty much how it is in europe – songs are mostly in english and movies are mostly translations of american films. i suggest going to youtube and just looking up german music
