Looking for a reggae/dancehall radio station that streams online?
I live in Colorado where we don’t have much for stations that play constant reggae music.
So I’m wondering if anybody knows of any online broadcasting stations which play mostly reggae and maybe some dancehall type music (both the classics and the new stuff), while providing song text info. I’d prefer a station that doesn’t play hip hip and has limited commercial time. I don’t really care where they are based.
I’ve searched the question, but didn’t really find what I was looking for. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the info. However, ‘ve already tried alot of thIose searches before. I was curious if anyone knew of any actual radio stations in their area that they might recomend.
go to http://www.reggaemania.com
in the audio section there’s a link to the 24/7 online radio station, all reggae all the time…

What is the best website for free music downloads?
I am wanting to downlaod some music for free, and I have not done that in a long time, what are some of the best for free downloads?
"beemp3.com" All free and easy to download
Thats where I get all of my songs. Just make sure it is by the right artist and the song is definitely the real one. There are some remixes and such. But every song I have got there has always been the real thing. Dont use Ez tracks or spiral frog they are always covers and you cant put them on your ipod or mp3.

Maclaren buggys – which model?
Hi have decided to go for a maclaren buggy – tried the techno xlr but it was too big when folded for my car boot. Thinking of the quest model – just wondering how this compares to other maclaren models and whether any others are preferable or better? Any advice gratefully received – Thanks.
Hi,
I used to work for Mothercare and you can’t go far wrong with a Maclaren.
The Techno is great, but a cheaper alternative is the Triumph (which I have for my one-year old). Its not suitable from birth as it doesn’t recline flat, but suitable from 3 months onwards (those three months just fly!) it does have an adjustable recline and a weathershield and its very light.
There is also a Volo but you only get the basic stroller and then have to add everying you need to it, I would steer clear.
Again, like a previous responder I didn’t buy from Mothercare I shopped around and got last year’s colours from a large Boots store for £35 less then half price. Always shop around for these large purchases and kiddicare is a great site.
Congrats on your new arrival.

What is the name of the techno-rock band girl lead singer and two guys?
I think the song is hot fire or sumthing it rocks. I think the band is British! They have a loud techno-punk-rock sound. In the band there is a sexxy punky female lead singer, a long brown hair keyboarder-synthesizer, and a guitarist with long blonde hair!

Radio signals?
Okay, so last Saturday i was sitting in my room surfing the net on my computer at about 2 a.m. and i started to hear voices. I immediately though it must either be my radio alarm clock or my computer, i turned the volume off on my speakers and it still played, so i went over and checked my alarm, it too was off. The sound was still playing, it was some sort of christian mumbo-jumbo preaching crap. I looked all over my room for any electronics that could play it with no success before finally realizing the sound was coming from my (Turned off) computer speakers. I have satelite internet so i’m curious if maybe i am intercepting signals from radio broadcasts or something or other, if thats possible… But it still happens from time to time since saturday. Everyday at random times i hear radio broadcasts (usually a few days old) from around the world. I heard some from netherlands, germany, and russia last night. I’m curious, what could possibly be causing this? Out of space, will add mor
I went into my brothers room and plugged some speakers into his computer to see if it worked on his computer too, and it in fact did. He was picking up classical music. Keep in mind these signals are usually so quiet you wouldnt normally hear them unless you were listening with the speaker to your ear. But at times they get loud and you can hear them clearly.
To the first answer:
I live near Rolla, Missouri. And it has been extremely windy and there have been storms lately, this may be a part of the cause.
Entirely possible that your satellite internet is at the basis of this phenomenon. There have been repoorts of many things picking up radio signals, including people’s teeth! So the dish could be picking up AM or SW signals on an atmospheric bounce of some sort. You might also be picking up XM,Sirius or Worldspace satellite radio signals – or television signals from afar. If everything is off, that adds to the mystery, but speakers are speakers, the on/off switch on computer speakers is for the amplifier. The speakers will still vibrate and create low-volume sound with or without power.
I’m grabbing at straws here and could be way off. One of the more technically inclined people here on this forum might have a better answer.

Should babies sleep with no sound in the room or with classical music/ talk radio?
Is it ok to have soft music playing while my baby is sleeping or is it better to have it quiet with no noise
I know their brains need to develop, so is music helping or hurting?
I usually keep the radio on NPR and sometimes there is music and sometimes there is talking, do you think it makes a difference for their brain developement if sometimes it’s just talking?
Any studies or info would help. Thanks!!
When you are asleep do you hear anything?? Maybe in light patches but when you are deeply asleep you don’t even smell anything, lol.
With both my kids I have had a radio or cd playing in their rooms from birth to keep a familiar environment and when they stir it hasn’t changed from when they went to bed. It can also help with making all the other house noises not seem so loud and the nights after everyone else is asleep the house doesn’t seem so quiet.
Personal preference, other parents are horrified my 4yo still has a cd playing in her room all night, lol.

How much does it cost for BBC Radio to operate their AM radio stations in the Middle East?
How much does it cost for BBC Radio to operate its AM radio stations in the Middle East? I believe they have a radio station in Dubai.
That is something you would have to contact the BBC about.
